Rampart Campus Offices is the modern use of the historic Armament Buildings
This three-story blond brick building faces its twin across Rampart Way. Building 379 housed classes, labs, and the Armament headquarters. A unique limestone entrance graces both buildings. The terrazzo marble floor at the entry has been restored to show the original winged crest and Air Training Command motto of “Sustineo Alas” – I Sustain the Wings. Building No. 376 behind it looks like a small hangar but was used in training for bombardiers. Completely remodeled, the buildings house medical offices. These buildings are on the National Register of Historic Buildings and have received both a Community Preservation award and a Colorado Preservation Award as outstanding examples of historic preservation.
