Lowry Park Retirement Community is the modern use of the historic Mile High Lodge military
Originally called the Mile High Lodge, it was built during a time of tremendous expansion at the base. Constructed to house 1,000 military personnel it was awarded “Innkeeper of the Year” for its quality management. After the base closed, the exterior was changed dramatically and a three story entry was added. With 124 modern apartments and a location that backs to the Great Lawn, it has a great outdoor aspect for the community.
